The Phantom’s Love Never Dies

The long awaited follow up to the single most successful entertainment entity in history, The Phantom of the Opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber debut it sequel last March 9, 2010 titled Love Never Dies. Its World Premiere in London at the Adelphi Theatre will be followed by openings in New York on November 11 and Australia in 2011.

Love Never Dies continues the story of ‘The Phantom’, who has moved from his lair in the Paris Opera House to haunt the fairgrounds of Coney Island, far across the Atlantic. Set 10 years after the mysterious disappearance of The Phantom from Paris, this show is a rollercoaster ride of obsession and intrigue, in which music and memory can play cruel tricks and death… The Phantom A.K.A Mister Y sets out to prove that, indeed, Love Never Dies.

In a short period of time I fall in love with its music personally till I hear Ramin Karimloo sing “Till I Hear you Sing” which is the first songs that heard ahead prior to opening night. ‘Till I Hear You Sing is an epic, soaring ballad sung by The Phantom which played by Hunky-Baritone Ramin Karimloo.

One of my favorite songs in the Soundtrack is “Look with your Heart” where Christine tells Gustave his son who’s soon to be revealed as the fruit of her affair with the Phantom to try and help him understand Raoul his growing-father’s behavior. The song speaks really poignant that Love is not always beautiful Not at the start. Another song that I like is “Beneath The Moonless Sky” where the Phantom and Christine recall the night of passion they shared the day before her wedding. the next morning, Christine awoke prepared to abandon Raoul for the Phantom, but found that the Phantom had left her. He admits that he left because he was too afraid of being rejected by her again.
One thing I notice about this musical is the close resemblance to the Miss Saigon Finale. Christine Daae was accidentally shot and killed by Meg, Christine reveals to Gustave that the Phantom is his father. Her final words tell the Phantom that her love for him will never die. They have one final kiss, and she dies in his arms. The Phantom hands the body of Christine to Meg and he comforts Gustave who unmasks him as the curtain falls.

Below is the Link i found where you can download the soundtrack of “Love Never Dies” I still recommend that everyone should buy original copy.
