my friends experienced maltreatment from a guard in AB 4th floor. I asked them to go there and just bring their lunch for us to have a meeting, we've been doing this for 3 years and the old security guard before just told us to keep the place clean and in return we also do our job in maintaining the premises free from clutter. I printed some of my homeworks and together with a friend, we go to the AB 4th and surprisingly, my groupmates were not there. I sent a text message to inform them that we are there eating our lunch. As they approach me, they told me to stop eating because the guard would only force me to go down. I asked "Bakit?" and then they just replied "Bawal daw, pinabababa kami ni kuya tapos sinundan pa kami sa baba dun sa 3rd floor hanggang sa makababa kami sa AB grounds, nainis nga si ----- kasi kumakain kami nun, pilit kaming pinabababa sabi nga niya, KUYA, PWEDE MO BA KAMING PATAPUSIN SA PAGKAIN?" but still the guard insists that they should go down. A little later, the same guard approached me and told me that it is prohibited to eat in that area and i said "Kuya, sandali lang, matatapos na, bakit ba bawal kumain dito? tatlong taon na kaming dito kumakain, hindi naman kami pinagbabawalan, sinasabihan lang kaming itapon yung pinagkainan sa basurahan, ginagawa naman namin." The guard just replied "BASTA." When I started to ask questions, he left. He didn't told me to leave maybe he sensed that I would assert my right as a student so he just left but for my friends, its not right to force them to go down while eating, he should atleast respect them, he can tell them that next time don't eat there but for now I'll allow you since you're eating already. I'm a third year student and I never experienced this incident in any of the guards. ONLY NOW.

this is not right, but before we make judgments, let us first hear the side of the security guards and of course the FEU administration about this issue. The admin should also be informed about this so that immediate and appropriate measures could be done regarding this matter.
