There had been so many controversies about this movie. The bond between Manny Pacquiao and Krista Ranillo that press people followed. Now that the trailer of this movie had been release, what can I say about the teaser?

The costumes were not impressive, flattering and look so cheap, the CAG (computer aided graphics) are not that flawless, too many supporting characters, the musical score isn’t sound so original (like a final fantasy PSP game background), the trailer texture is quite crisp that made it looks good.

But the most important is that PACMAN is the lead actor.. Even though the trailer didn’t established too much dialogue but the charming greetings from the inexperience (showbiz) voice of Manny Pacquio could capture the heart of an individual to watch WAPACKMAN. I almost forgot the MANNY PACQUIO AND KRISTA RANILLO FILM controversies. I consider to watch this movie. And I guess mostly kids will want to see this as they regard Manny Pacquiao as a hero-idol..

SYNOPSIS:

It is about Magno, a father with 5 children but was left behind by his wife Magda to work as a nurse in Italy. When Magno was knocked unconscious by an explosion caused by Walo-walo, an organic substance which stores energy that is almost as powerful as a nuclear energy, he wakes up with superpowers. He assumes the superhero identity of Wapakman. WWE wrestler Dave Batista plays as a yet to be named villain.

Rufa Mae Quinto who plays as her leading lady and not Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls. She was Manny’s first choice but due to conflict in schedule, she begged off from doing the movie. Krista Ranillo play as one of the villain

I have to revoke this idea of using typecast gay people as main punch line for this movie teaser.. i can feel that this movie is man’s crap. Director Tofee Lee please be careful.. i must say that treatment is no brainier.. you should come out with more radical yet not discriminating. i can see that discrimination in Philippines showbiz are getting worst exploiting gay people is disgraceful.
