Mayon Volcano set to erupt
Albay, December 14, 2009- Albay Gov. Joey Salceda orders mandatory evacuation as alert status of Mayon Volcano raised to Alert level 3 over Albay province after a series of explosions and lava trickles yesterday-9,000 families advised to evacuate.
Because of its almost perfectly conical shape, Mayon Volcano known to be as “Perfect Cone” Volcano. Mayon is situated 15 kilometres northwest of Legazpi City.
Let us pray for our brothers and sisters from Bicol.
