I read one article about facebook addiction. and surprisingly, im a FACEBOOK ADDICT.

right this moment i tried the new facebook lite. this new platform randomly choose facebook members to try it somewhere August 2009, i wasn’t tried it that time but i read some articles how it looks like. now that i completely seen it i can actually describe how it looks like. you can see your most recent status updates and the updates of your friends. There is a left-hand navigation with four main categories: Wall, Info, Friends, and Photos & Videos. It does little more than that. Its more like Twitter. it minimized duplication of shared post. the most beautiful part of it is that Instant messaging and application was striped out in the new platform.. in short you can see the most vital and important news from your friend. It’s a limited test for only a subset of users. The fact that thousands, if not millions of users got the test notice was a bug. Most likely Facebook will open up the test to more users very soon, especially since everybody now knows about it.

Back to Facebook Addiction or what they call FAD (Facebook Addiction Disorder) im sad to know that this is really serious that psychologist are now probing. I had this delema of changing all the information i input in my facebook account and making it private to protect my privacy. we all know there are plenty of people got morally attacked by some poser stole their identity using every detials and picture just like what happened to jacque bormejo who was morally suppered from depression due to series of death threats and comments she got.  my friends even got a Virus that redirect her into a hoax Facebook platform, and according to my investigation it is a virus that gather information from a certain account and use it in purpose that the person doesn’t know, in short your account got hacked and soonerly you might suffer from identity stealing later you’ll see name online in the wanted list.. grr scary right? Now that facebook is really a phenomenal hit,  mental illness were now formulated by specialist. you can read the full article of this news here
