I still feel the tension when nearly 1000 Navotas Public teachers protested by wearing black shirts to show sympathy of 13 of their own who were criminally charged by a losing mayoral bet Federico Sandoval for alleged poll fraud in the May 2007 elections.

The Sandovals are known for being a rich proprietors and politicians in Navotas. After Federico Sandoval step down from being the Representative to the congress of Navotas-Malabon district his brother, Alvin Sandoval, run for this position in 2007 election to retain their power in the 2 cities. Alvin Successfully won the election but his opponent Josephine Veronica Lacson objects.

8 Months from now before “suppose” to finish Alvin Sandoval’s term as a Lawmaker, The House of Representatives Electoral Tribunal Ordered him to vacate his position in leau of Lacson, immediately after the month of October.

To my fellow Navotenos don’t be surprise but we have a new congressman.. this is a good news to the public teachers of Navotas, now who cheated in the election?

I hope Congresswoman Lacson will resolve most of the mess unfinished work that the Sandovals left on the office.
