Officially it is the start of “ber” months! This means Christmas is near. The season for stress, depression and shopping till you comatose. The season of crazy yuletide game of buying everything and insane gift giving. The time of non-stop party till you get broke. The times of the year were traffic on the street is congested. The Favorite occasion of the Business people to intensify the prices of their stuffs. The season of Fire due to electrical faulty wiring of Christmas lights. Maybe for some of us that is what Christmas all about.

But for me this is my favorite time of the year. The season to prepare for the Christmas celebration. The time to decorate the room and put up the Christmas tree. The season to show your love to the people close to you. The time for family. And most of all, to celebrate the birth of our savior Jesus Christ.

Our world is fast-paced and unpredictable. We struggle to keep rooted in what we know for sure. We seek comfort and peace in what is timeless and permanent. And Christmas is the only thing that is permanent. Despite all the tragedy that come to us. We never forget to celebrate the unchanging love of God by giving his only begotten son to redeem us.

Last year Tangos United Methodist Church did a musical with title Christmas is forever: Unchanging Love in an ever changing world Created by Gary Rhodes & Claire Cloninger Arranged by Gary Rhodes, and which i directed. Those were the times our Church Sanctuary weren’t burned to ashes. And I’m delighted to share to you the video of this Musical. Part 1: Christmas Is Forever with His Love Is Alive and No Eye Had Seen

- its the first track, shows how wonderful Gods love from the beginning till he send His only begotten Son to save the world

-this number is more or on family… passing through generation to generation the true meaning of Christmas… take note… i made the choir Dance and Act… hehehe!

Part2: The Night Before Christmas/ Glory to God

the second part of christmas is forever…

Part3: It Came Upon the Midnight clear/ This is our Son

the 3rd part of christmas is forever is the most significant part… this where the story of christmas were told…

it includes the classic song “it came upon the midnight clear” and ‘this is our son”…

“This is our son”- the song of mary and joseph telling their anxiety of having jesus as the baby even though they knew what the prophets foretold about the messiah they chose to grant this and send Jesus to the world…

Part 4: Jesus, Savior, Friend

the fourth part of the cantata is more on reflections…

Jesus, savior, friend is a very solemn accapela song praising the lord jesus christ our savior and friend…

Part 5: Light of Jesus/ The Name Lives On

Light of Jesus is the song of Kevin telling the kids perception about christmas..

The name lives on… a nice pop gospel song that encluded in the cantata… i love this song so much, yes really Jesus, the name lives on… and forever!

Part 6: Finale

the last part is the Finale…

its a medley of some of the prior song of the musical.. it includes Lord most high a popular gospel song… see how we glorify God in our presentation…
