Boy Abunda is a known supporter of Sen. Manuel “Manny” Villar Jr. and become visible in several of the senator’s television advertisements. But when Noynoy announced his proposition to presidential candidacy, Boy Abunda immediately uttered his support to Kris’ older brother.

According to Kris, Abunda is even willing to sell some of his property and donate the money to Noynoy’s campaign.

She said: “He’s (Boy Abunda) really my other brother… Sabi ni Boy, the two houses daw na he has here [ibebenta niya]. Sabi niya huwag lang sa Samar dahil iyon ang ancestral home, at binuo niya iyon for Nanay (Boy Abunda’s mother). Pero si Nanay nagsabi, ‘Hindi Boy isama mo na rin iyon.’”

“Alam mo, iyon friendship namin is more than just friendship. Kasi part of the family talaga siya. Kasi actually ang dalas ibilin ng mom sa kanya, especially when mom was sick, na ikaw nang bahala kay Kris kasi sayo nakikinig yan.”

Kris said she also offered to sell her home, but Noynoy opposed the idea.

“Sabi ni Noy, ‘Thank you very much pero hindi ako pinalaki ng dad na kukunin ko ang bahay ng mga anak mo. Hindi ko naman kaya yan. God will provide.’ Tapos sinabi niya, ‘Hindi, huwag iyong bahay mo para kung ano man ang mangyari may matitirhan kayo. Sabi ko, ‘Why? Takot ka na titira kami sa Times (Street) with you?’” she laughingly said.

She added: “’Alam ko marami akong pending na endorsements. Sabi ko, one-third kay Josh, one-third kay Baby James, one-third sa kanya. Sabi ko, ‘Wow, Mama Kris talaga!”

When I heard this news on TV I laughed, why? Because how could you sell your house just to support the campaign of a friend that in the end you’ll lose the most important properties you got. I think that statement is not pertaining to the literal meaning of house. Maybe Boy abunda is willing to sacrifice his political support to Senator Manny Villar just for Noynoy Aquino or maybe just for Kris Aquino, which we all know is his best friend.

Now, my question is if that is metaphorically said how come he will sell 2 houses? maybe the ancestral house is his own then the second one came from Manny Villar.. hmmm

If NOT then this statement is the most dim-witted one I heard on television history..

As what the old lady said in Manny Villar housing advertisement.. “di baling magdildil ng asin basta may bahay”
