the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles held the 36th annual Daytime Emmy Awards 2009, Sunday, August 30.
I am Glad that “The Lifetime Achievement Award” was presented to “Sesame Street” for its 40 years of educating and entertaining children. This was used to be the foreign TV show i watch during my early years. “The Bold and the Beautiful” won its first Outstanding Drama Series title. There were lots of first-time winners at the Daytime Emmys, including Susan Haskell (“One Life to Live”) as best actress, Tamara Braun (“Days of Our Lives”) as best supporting actress and “Days” co-star Darin Brooks as best younger actor.
