Douglas Quijano is one of the respected personality in the world of show business. He use to be called as tito dougs for some majority of the people who knew him. I met Tito Dougs during the days i worked in shall we dance, he is a very soft spoken person very professional and reliable. Tito dougs is like a father to miss lucy and papa richard. In a way a dad protect his sons and daughters. i witness how miss lucy treats him just like a child who obey his dad, for what dad knows best. even though tito dougs and i were not that really related, i profess that he is a good leader, a perfect manager, a peace advocate, a professional co worker, and most of all a passionate Father. Douglas Quijano, one of the most powerful persons in the Philippine entertainment industry, was found dead in his home in Lukban town, Quezon province, Saturday morning.

A text message received by ABS-CBN News said Quijano died around 10 a.m. in his home Lukban town, which he built three years ago after deciding to semi-retire from show business.

Manager Ethel Ramos said Quijano was found sprawled and lifeless on the floor of his home.

There were still no details on the showbiz manager’s death as of this posting.

Quijano is the manager of several prominent actors including Richard Gomez, brothers Jomari and Anjo Yllana and Joey Marquez.

MANILA, Philippines – A well-known talent manager has died, according to a television report.

Douglas Quijano passed away in the US, the report aired on QTV said.

There were no other details on the death of Quijano, but actors Richard and Lucy Gomez, also in the US, said in a live interview that they would be flying back with Quijano’s body Sunday.

The Gomezes were part of the stable of talents that Quijano had managed.
